Oh Schatz

 Posted by Picasa
Short term bonds in Germany are called Schatz..in Hong Kong they are called Dim Sum...both yield next to nothing..like ours..why does everyone want to own them at such a severe cost? Is it the attempted envenomation by the current unleadership towards all it's peasants?

So many extremes...

-The stock market has not traded below forward estimated earnings of the current numbers for longer than one month since the late 1980's...says a prominent broker dealer.
- Gold imports are exploding higher across the world as governments begin massive buy ins of physical gold.
- Oil has it's longest weekly losing streak in 13 years. Yet China imported a record amount last month.
- Bears have out numbered bulls now at a seven month high... sentiment...is too bearish..
- Stock yields exceed government bond yields.
- Fortune reports, Earnings as a percentage of GDP are the highest since 1929, and wages the lowest since 1937.
- Almost everyone we read and talk to are bearish on stocks....and bullish on bonds...stating that the current western financial system is completely unsustainable.
- Many important companies in our opinion are now selling/ trading below replacement cost......and are retesting 2007-2008 lows.

We remain...when the (new) adults return to a leadership position the markets will begin to see a bid and stabilize.....in anticipation of an understanding and appreciation a stabilization of what more than likely lies ahead...pretty simple actually.

Danny Boy seen here on a clear day....he like others don't like the lightning and passing storms.
