IF A DOG WAS A TEACHER

You would learn things like:
1) When a loved one comes home, always run to greet them.
2) Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joy ride.
3) Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
4) Take naps.
5) Stretch before rising.
6) Run romp and play daily.
7) Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
8) Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
9) On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
10) On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
11) When you are happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
12) Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
13) Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.
14) Be loyal.
15) Never pretend to be something you are not.
16) If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
17) When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
The stock markets leadership is taking a breather (all things related to hydrocarbons) and it will attempt a rotation here for awhile...there might be some false starts in technology and financials...the market might flat line until the elections...
We'll soon find out....but extremes are being reached, again... as almost everyone is pretty much upside down on their investments, household finances, concerns over the pending elections, rising taxes and interest rates all around the world.
"These are tough times for asset managers. Unimpressive stock-market returns over the past decade, and the shaky economic future, have made investors wary. Just 21.9% of household wealth today is in stocks or mutual funds---down from 33% in 2000. Last quarter, 24 of the 25 biggest mutual funds saw a drop in stock and bond fund assets as redemption's soared."
Usually, as a contrarian this is setting up for a pretty good investment environment when everyone becomes so negative.....yet, rising interest rates and taxes equals lower asset values pure and simple. Those voting in higher tax rates maybe voting the stock market with their feet....i.e...selling and leaving.
Barkly seen here sure was a great teacher.
