As all the chatter in America surrounds Mr's Smith, weekly oil inventories, Iran's Nuclear ambitions, Bush ratings and global climate change people are missing the big picture. The general public never focuses on the big picture and society in general is so obsessed with short term goals and immediate gratification that they dont look long term.

America remains the envy of the free world....that seems to be shrinking every month now...Putin's comments last week are scary and a major wake up call. The Peak production of Oil is a major wake up call. The conversion to "cleaner" fuels is about to create a demand imbalance in Natural gas. The global drought is going to reach havoc in the global supply of food in 2007. People are living very well without fear of the financial markets..all this is not normal...

Go rent the DVD movie "The smartest guys in the room" The Enron Story. Watch it closely and compare it to the leveraged financial markets today. Yesterday's reported Secretary Paulson's review of Hedge Funds said they are OK....of course he was going to say that...
