Greenland Warms

Greenland is covered by 630,000 cubic miles of ice, enough water to raise global sea levels by 23 feet. The abrupt acceleration of melting ice in Greenland has taken climate scientists by surprise. The general thinking until recently was the ice sheets don't react to very quickly to climate change...this thinking is now changing. Hundreds of millions of people live along coastal areas...even the slightest change in sea levels would be a dramatic event.
Yet we have not seen any measured evidence of current rising oceans...some believe the warmer atmosphere is turning more water into vapour.
We would not want own any material property at or below sea level especially with any leverage...add this to the wall of worry when the markets pick it up...
Danny Boy seen here is amazed that US Senators can't even ask an intelligent question, even if it is prepared by staff for the Federal Reserve Board Chairman who unfortunately has to put up with this nonsense for three days.
