A remarkable 91% of all the equity holdings in the USA are held by the top 20% income group. The top 1% own 38% of all the equity valuation.

We venture 99% of all money managers have never "invested" or worked in an inflationary environment... nor have reporters or politicians. So.....nothing is making sense to the majority of people now........investors sitting (getting crushed) in cash and bonds. Being told the stock market rally is a bear market rally. SELL.

Junk bond yields are back to all time low yields at 7%...stay away....

Labor cost as a percent of sales are the lowest in 60 years....one reason for such high current corporate profit margins.

The average total consumer credit as a percent of disposable personal income from 1959 through 1995 was 17.6%. At the end of December, 2010, the reading is 20.85%....down from the high in April 2005. We still have room to go!

Year to date the stock market rally has added $900 billion in equity valuation....this rolling 102 week "rate of return" has only happen twice in history....back in the 30's.

The Mayor of Minneapolis told city residents last week he will raise property taxes an average of 6% every year for the next five years. People were left speechless.

In the past two years the Federal Government has added 80,000 new federal workers and added 11,000,000 people to the food stamp program.

An executive at one of the world's largest miners said last week, "the 2010 global refined copper deficit is expected to increase through 2011 and 2012 and consumption trends over the next 15 to 20 years would lead to a doubling in demand for iron ore, copper, aluminum and other commodities."

We are astonished at how inattentive people are now with the "real world" as they focus on texting and NOT COMMUNICATING. The new social networks don't deliver new oil, food or money. But those texting better get with it or they are going to be left far far behind.
