BID LISTS

Posted by Picasa
Now just 25 days into the new year the TV announcer said, "we are experiencing a cluster crash. The bear market rally in stocks is declared over. The bull market in bonds is back underway. The bubble in commodities is over." China is not even considered for investment. Interest rates are rising around the world to combat inflation. Our Fed says they will keep manipulating interest rates through spring this year.

All noise!

-) ALL the markets need a rest after a stellar five month rally.
-) The China Ass. of Auto Manufactures said they sold 33% more passenger vehicles last year...13.76 million.
-) North Dakota oil production will soon surpass Alaskan oil production...
-) Gasoline inflation adjusted is still below the old high in 1980 $3.50 per gallon...demand is increasing worldwide.
-) There are currently an estimated $90 billion of oil related assets for sale globally...who do you think will buy most of them?
-) There has been a 30-50% increase in local sales since Christmas of physical gold to China creating a shortage said the FT's.
-)Technology and financials make up almost 35% of the S&p 500. Both have been chased by too many traders.
-) Total Industrial Production is still down 5.79% from the peak in 2007.

There will be three or four fake break outs and break downs (just like last year) we are now experiencing our first.

Even though the "bond" market is ten times bigger than the stock market, when sellers go to the market in droves, it goes "no bid"..... that is when broker dealers put out bid lists...so hopefully investors will see their inventory and want to bid on pieces of it. We don't like large illiquid markets.
