Over Coaching/ Reffing

At hockey games....typically the parents are former coaches and the fans have seen many games...collectively they are smart and well read on the game of hockey. When a coach or the referee makes mistakes it is pretty obvious to all..as well as with instant analysis comes protest...some times very loud protests...
Over Coaching is simple..the coaches might be trying too hard....making too many decisions...getting too emotional...making errors.
This is what is happening to the perceived leadership of the country. They are over debating everything and we all know it. This is not normal....it is always about the people/ players not the leadership/ coaches.
A great current example is the two final teams entering the Superbowl. Almost nobody talks about the coaches (or knows them)....they are doing their jobs....it is about the teams and winning....making the least amount of mistakes.
The minority of folks over coaching today in wdc, llc think it is all about them...and they can't see the obvious.....this is what has so many people so upset...we have a hard time remembering and observing such animosity....many say it has not been at such levels in many generations...this alone could and will most likely trigger a reversal....when such extremes are reached.
GE says "focused shrinkage", our sell .....less for more mantra...prices are going higher for everything shortly...get used to it! With so many new rules and regulations being floated....productivity gains will be squashed....companies will retreat....we read now depreciation is exceeding capital investment (or "global capital spending is running below replacement capital"). Our homeowners insurance goes up this year (as house values goes down) because replacement cost is higher.....so you want to invest in companies that have pricing power.
Google's cash flow jumps 44% last quarter now the company is sitting on $24 billion dollars. Cash is at 40-50 year highs almost across the board. Do you want to invest in the private sector (stocks) or the public sector government (bonds) this is an easy call for us....which one do you think is better managed? Which one is making money and which one is losing money? It is frightening to observe the one losing money is criticising the profitable one so loudly....in fact the "professional" public sector folks have collectively never made any money!
"In a jet, you will notice the lag in engine acceleration as you advance the throttles. But then you will be surprised by the acceleration of the acceleration. The power response from a jet engine is not normally linear....as engine compression and turbine start to spin faster and faster, the thrust is multiplying. So if it takes four seconds for an engine to reach full power, more thrust will be produced in the last second or so than the first three. As you accelerate down the runway, the jet engine is feeding itself more air and thus increasing power output" said a flying magazine report. We think this is analogous to our current environment.
Danny Boy seen here continues the steady course......emotion is never a pretty display especially when it is accelerating.
