A Thousand Barrels a Second

When the World consumes 86 million barrels day..which will be a run rate (and growing)sometime this year...that equates to a thousand barrels a second.

A very important pipeline was found to be materially corroded in Alaska. This is a fairly new pipeline at 30 years of age.....Every pipeline around the world will now be tested...this discovered corrosion was not predicted and is a big surprise...

Oil Tanker stocks have risen sharply...approximately half of the world's oil goes through pipelines and the other half is transported around the world in big tanker ships!
