Violent Venezuela

Hugo Chavez is proving that socialism does not work. Last week, lying down across 12 city blocks in central Caracas, tens of thousands of Venezuelans chalked outlines of their own bodies to protest the most visible legacy of seven years of Chavez's rule- rampant violent crime. It was the biggest opposition demonstration since the recall referendum of 2004. 70,000 murders in seven years represent a tripling of the murder rate since Chavez came to power....Venezuela is now the most lethal country in the hemisphere.

As Chavez cancels contracts with foreign oil companies and confiscates the wealthiest people's land and farms...he is facing a dramatic climax to a very difficult situation...the USA is going to be directly effected...

Today Chavez signed a 9 month $2 billion dollar deal to buy 100,000 barrels of oil per day from the Russians to meet existing contracts to supply oil...IE..his own production from lack of investment and management is rapidly declining.

This country is our 4th largest supplier of oil, behind Canada, Mexico and the Saudis.....

Americans are beginning to act like socialists...complaining about everything and expecting the government to solve all problems...

Oil will be $100/ bbl soon and if you think $3.00 gas makes us scream (which it shouldn't) watch when you can't get any gas!

The American attitude of entitlement is making a lot of very smart Americans very nervous.
How can a majority of people blame the President for everything and not take control of their own situations?
