Demonstrated Interest

We think most investors in bonds and cash are like the BP oil well capped at 5,000 feet below the ocean surface...it is now sealed, under pressure and closed forever....and nothing can get out.

The stock market goes higher..........

1) NYSE cumulative daily breadth up, a positive
2) Financials have stopped going down, positive
3) Bonds have topped (risk back on), a positive
4) The stock market is breaking out of a multi-month trading range, a positive
5) The Consumer Metrics Institute Weighted Composite Index has stopped going down, a positive
6) There are old timers leaving wdc, llc next month, a positive
7) There is near a record amount of cash on the sidelines, a positive
8) Gold & Silver new 52 week highs, a positive
9) Everyone is bearish on real estate (Time magazine had the demise of real estate on it's cover), a positive
10) Cap Ex has been below depreciation (creates future demand), a positive

OIL IS ABOUT TO MAKE NEW 52 WEEK HIGHS SOON...NOBODY IS EXPECTING OIL TO FOLLOW GOLD.....IT ALMOST ALWAYS HAS.

The stock market feels like the mid 1970's rally in commodities (when the country was also in a work out) ..rule number one never fight the tape or follow the crowd.

Careful when debt costs exceed growth rates...like Greece right now.

Few people we know own gold or silver....up in a leadership position again year to date and the best performing asset for the past ten years. When will they start to buy?

To be accepted into a college you have to show material demonstrated interest..you have to stay on it...just like everything else in life.....a good life lesson for the incoming freshman.

Danny Boy seen here upside down like so many other money managers right now.
