Skin in the Game

Posted by Picasa
We are struck by the number of emails sent to us regarding the well known fact that approximately 1/2 of Americans pay no federal income tax. And we are pleasantly surprised at the media's response...suggesting the future problems when somebody does not have any skin in the game....much less half the voters will now firmly support current policy when it benefits them to do so....Everyone we saw with comment knew this is a problem....we of course agree....it is a big problem....citizens are now very excited to tell everyone just how they feel in the upcoming November elections. Pretty amazing how all members of congress have very much disappeared from the media....we read 65% of Americans want the new health care program repealed.....they found out it is NOT FREE!

Everything so far, is very much on schedule.....oil and gold showing relative strength and resting now.....stocks outperforming bonds...Greece feels better because the Europeans decided to pile more debt upon debt and think all is just fine now....incredible really...the US Dollar looks to be trending lower again....

China, as a famous banker said today, "Control will go with capital". Everyone is begging for a stronger Chinese currency....as we have often heard, "be careful what you wish for".

Global Production of gold peaked in 2001....gold adjusted for inflation is still 42% below it's prior high in 1980.....scarcity of this important collectible metal is upon us.

The world's super blue chip equities across the board (technology, heath care, energy, emerging markets, mining and finance) are attracting new money/ investment...this is logical and predictable as these companies are the least expensive best run and don't need any government help or public financing....and importantly... they have such large weightings in the broad indexes ....it is extremely hard for money mangers to "beat the market" if they are not overweight these stocks.

Danny Boy seen here reading up on what is next for the markets.
