By Pass The Banks

"We're bypassing the banks," noted a CEO at a major private equity firm yesterday. "They found themselves holding the baby," noted a hedge fund manager and yet another said the US Treasury is the only bank left....rest assured this is a trend...

The private equity boys and hedge funds have stuck it to the nations largest money center banks and broker dealers....of course they brought this on themselves as well.

The new Ice Age: Solar activity is dramatically reduced now and maybe the sun is entering a new lower solar cycle (this was predicted for 2010-2012) thus the dramatic lower average global temperatures....this winter has erased trends of warmth for the past couple of decades. This is critical to understand...if we are cooling....this will come at the worst possible time for the food and energy crunch that is real and long term....Al Gore missed the key issues and made the wrong conclusions...so have many others caught up in the green house gasses hype.

In Peak Oil, the challenges as we have been discussing for sometime, could be dramatic and immediate...if we are to experience a cold cycle, the problems facing investors and citizens alike will be dramatically accelerated....

Obviously more energy would be consumed and less food could be grown to appease the global population. Current rising depletion rates for everything related to this theme is water, fertilizer, coal, oil, Nat gas....

As extreme chaos prevails in, housing, currencies, food and energy investors are scrambling to make sense....this is the future as people compete for ever scarcer resources...

Careful of the "Anti bubble" in treasuries.

What if the last two (and largest) debt markets can't find buyers in 2008----Corporate Bonds and US Treasuries??? This is also key...if as this massive amount of debt matures this year and rolls into new maturities...who is going to buy this paper at current prices??
