When You Can't Sell-

What you want to sell, you sell whatever you can sell. The sell off in oil has been more technical than fundamental...much like the short and aggressive corrections we had in 2006. The short
term traders give back more than they take in...
Notice red flags.....an important part of investing is to feel and observe inflection points. Especially when something feels exhausted....after many months or years..an example is the recent article in the NYT's on hedge fund managers that only buy the best penthouses in New York City and at any price...little do they understand its the carrying costs of a depreciating asset they will not be able to afford in a down year of earnings....they are the last to buy and they will be the first to sell..at lower prices...locals know better..
Oil feels like it is trying to put in a bottom largely because everyone is now calling for it to go lower....a flag.
