Just Say No

Posted by Picasa
There sure seems to be a lot of people saying no right now:

1) The Gov says no to the leveraged buy out of SLM.
2) The Gov say no to lower taxes (incredibly poor timing and very misplaced.)
3) The bond market is saying no to more junk. bonds...deals getting cancelled, delayed and scaled down.
4) The rating agencies are saying no more investment grade ratings to sub prime paper.
5) Investors are saying no to financial stocks...they look to be topping here.
6) No to the US dollar...making new lows.
7) Congress, no to hedge funds and their leverage.
8) No to new sub prime buyers seeking funding for new purchases of homes.
9) No to new cap ex for oil drilling...money is being spent for stock repurchases.
10) No to free trade with China.
11) Russia and Venezuela no to foreign direct investment.
12) US Congress and people saying no to more involvement in Iraq.

No usually means more discipline and higher prices.

GE and BHP said no to two acquisitions...this is very smart management...the brilliance here is these two companies passed on to their competition higher prices for assets...both immediate positives for GE and BHP...

The media continues to miss the most important stories of the day...the rally advances in China, India and OIL.

Barkly seen here years ago, is missed and admired!
