Your As Good As Your Last Trade

We don't like this expression but it is true. And many people are relatively new to the global equity markets with little historical knowledge...so they really don't care about the past and are really trading for the day or near term future...so when you add the fact that so many are trading with leverage and short term performance goals one needs to consider the following...

60% of people who actively trade stocks consistently lose money. 70% of those who actively trade options lose money. And 80% of all non-professional active futures traders are currently losing money. Additionally; 30% of Brazilians are under 15 years of age, in China 21% is under 15 and India 32%....so we have many new emerging "traders" coming as well...

Yet performance is everything....no one looks at the details....they just compare bottom lines and buy sell based on gut, due- diligence or current trends....buyer beware!
