Blockers

The Chairman serves the Board of Directors, the President and Chief Executive Officer or CEO serve the Chairman of the Board. Many times the Chairman is also the President and CEO of a corporation.

To move up in an organization... those who aspire such.. need to understand these critical facts as to whom they report up to and how to please and work for a positive productive organizational structure.

Blockers are people who don't understand this and never make it higher in such a work or team environment. We can see this daily.. senior seasoned executives not making it to Chairman, President or CEO...the reason is almost always because they block the vision or rules being instituted by its leadership.

Blockers stand out in life too and we all have experienced them in one way or another. You can have people in leadership positions already as blockers and they are never invited into the bigger more important picture; several great examples were this week when the leadership of Iran and Venezuela completely embarrassed them selves and their countrymen in front of a world stage at the United Nations. These people will be black listed from any real growth or future participation in any global dialog and their constituents will more importantly suffer as well...In today's world it is remarkable people in leadership positions can make such amateurish mistakes......but it happens everyday...

If you want to succeed in life never be a blocker and always be a team player.
