Iran Oil & Gas Reserves

Iran's Oil and Gas reserves are worth $3 Trillion dollars at current prices. Iran has extremely high unemployment and a very young total population with a crazy leader and nuclear ambitions!

Iran has 1 percent of the world's population, it owns 10% of the world's proven oil reserves and 16 % of its gas reserves. Additionally its economy relies heavily on its oil export revenues- some 80 to 90% of total export earnings and 40 to 50% of the government budget.

The USA has no relationship with this country. It is illegal for Americans to do business there and the far east is now establishing long term business deals with its people.

Yet we use their oil. What would happen if we couldn't?
